Live Chat with YA authors Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl, and more!

Just when you think the story of the Mercy Falls Wolves ended--BAM!--news was just released that author Maggie Stiefvater is releasing a companion book to the series called Sinner (which, by the way, is a standalone book-- not a part of the series!) called Sinner, following Cole and Isabel and their lives in Los Angeles. It has a planned release date at July 1st, 2014. I've been a fan of Shiver and Linger (still, I have to get my hands on Forever) so I was doing the happy dance as soon as I found out the news.

From Scholastic, Sinner (978-0-545-65457-9, $18.99, hardcover; 978-0-545-65458-6, $18.99, ebook; Ages 14 and up) follows Cole St. Clair, a pivotal character from the #1 New York Times bestselling Shiver Trilogy. Everybody thinks they know Cole’s story. Stardom. Addiction. Downfall. Disappearance. But only a few people know Cole’s darkest secret – his ability to shift into a wolf. One of these people is Isabel. At one point, they may have even loved each other. But that feels like a lifetime ago. Now Cole is back. Back in the spotlight. Back in the danger zone. Back in Isabel’s life. Can this sinner be saved?

Not only this, but Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl have another book in store for the Caster Chronicles. My brain cannot handle all this news at once. No, seriously. In 2014, the dynamic duo of authors are planning for another book to come out which takes place in the Caster world, though is not technically part of the series but-- it does follow Ridley and Link, two characters which have been my favorites, and, are getting their own spin off called "Dangerous Creatures" in May of 2014. Also, an e-book novella prequel will be released this December 17, 2013, "Dangerous Dream". It will be taking place when the characters are packing up for college, at the end of the summer. So, what can you expect? New characters. New villains. New settings. Mm, yes. CANNOT WAIT.

Authors Garcia and Stohl are having a live Twitter chat on Tuesday, September 17 @ 4 PM PST/7 PM EST where fans can ask questions about the new series using the hashtag #DangerousCreatures. Be sure to check it out!
